Companion Dogs

Deafinitely Dogs! will train a companion dog for an elderly person, those with disabilities, families with disabled children and those who may not have the time or ability to train a dog - but would like a wonerfully trained companion.  These dogs will be trained in basic home obedience, be housebroken, and will have their therapy dog title.

Please note that therapy dogs are NOT service dogs.  Therapy dogs have been tested and have passed a test that allows them to visit some facilities, such as hospitals and nursing homes.  (They do not have the same public access as a service dog and can be denied entry!)

We will evaluate applications, do home visits and place dogs in homes we deem to be the best fit for both the individual/family and the dog.

Deafinitely Dogs! will try to use rescue dogs in our companion dog training program.  These dogs make wonderful individual and family pets.   These dogs will require a minimum donation of $3500 to Deafinitely Dogs!   These donations will go directly towards the care, training and aquisition of the dogs in our assistance dog program.
