Sponsor a Dog
Sponsor a dog so that Deafinitely Dogs can place more service dogs with those who need one in order to live more independently. Assistance dogs are very special—they serve a medical need that may or may not be visible to others. They perform tasks that mitigate a disability for their human partner. The work that these dogs do every single day is truly a miracle to the lives they enrich and touch. Learn how to sponsor a dog below!
What Does a Sponsorship Cover?
Accomplishing the whole 24-month training process is expensive. It wouldn’t be possible without the sponsorship and support of our donors and volunteers. Sponsorship for a Deafinitely Dogs! service dog covers the costs from the time we acquire a puppy through all of its training until it’s placed with their person.
Your $25,000 sponsorship helps cover:
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of training
- Food costs
- Housing of the dog
- Leashes and collars
- Puppy wellness checks
- Spay and neuter procedures
- Tick and flea medication
- Training capes
- Veterinary care
- Care package for the recipient including grooming tools, a nail trimmer, ear cleaning supplies, toothbrush and toothpaste, and boots for the dog’s paws
